Manufacturing of items can be done from start to finish under one roof. Bespoke machines are made to order and designs are developed in house for a unique requirement. We work closely with our customers to create a design that meets with the customer specification and their company requirements.

Opportunity
Lyndhurst Precision, established over 35 years ago and now one of the North West’s leading engineering, fabrication and machining companies, requires an experiences and gifted Project Engineer for our facility in Chorley.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Projects engineer, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within a design/engineering office and a production environment.
- Previous experience producing quality documentation such as; Quality Plans & LTQR packs.
- Ability to produce timing plans/project programs to outline key dates and critical activities, working closely with the team to maintain an achievable delivery date.
- Experience in working with engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpretate customer specifications and make decisions with technical information.
- Ability to apply engineering principles to reach a quality solution.
- Ability to problem solve both as part of a team, and individually.
- Ability to handle multiple project deliverables.
- A good communicator at all levels, including both shop floor and customer support.
- Willing to travel for site surveys and installation support when required.
- Good time management.
Beneficial Requirements
- A good understanding & experience of the standards and quality control documents required to work with high level customers within the nuclear industry.
- A good understanding Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems.
- Knowledge of welding certification and requirements
