When a fleet of wind turbines encountered catastrophic failures, Lyndhurst was asked to identify the cause of the issues and develop a solution.

The parts were brought to our facility where we inspected them and identified the reason for their failure. Our design team then worked on a solution that would not only allow the turbines to begin working again but also improve efficiency during manufacturing. Before the manufacturing phase, we ran our designs through extensive simulations and stress calculations to ensure that everything would work as intended.

We then began the manufacturing phase, entirely re-manufacturing to the approved drawings. After testing, inspection and a trial build, we conducted final assembly before delivery to our customer.
