At Lyndhurst, we set great store on believing that every day is a school day, we believe that you never stop learning in what ever you do. Whether it’s on the job training or more structured learning we actively encourage and celebrate any one who wants to add to their skill set and we have an ongoing programme for continued professional development.
In addition to our apprentices we also engage in ongoing training for othe members of our team, no matter what.
We have a 9 strong team of fully qualified fork lift truck drivers, each one of them has completed their 3 day training course with BB Training Ltd and Global Materials Handling Ltd culminating in a practical and theory exam.
Our purchasing manager Andy, has just started the CIPS level 3 at Blackburn college, lasting 40 weeks this course is backed by the chartered institute of procurement and supply and will enhance and develop Andy’s already broad and experienced knowledge to understand management, arrange supply logistics and implement new contracts amongst many other skills.
Two of our experienced engineers Anthony and Peter have recently undertaken training for Autodesk inventor, a 3D CAD system. Provided by @QuadraSolutions the training will add to their already highly developed skill base and enable them to design for the future, taking Lyndhurst Precision Engineering onward, upwards and beyond…………
